Additives are items that can be added when crafting Weapons or Armor in order to ensure the creation of a higher quality item.
All Additives except for Black Gem, Dragon Tooth, Ancient Gem, and Ancient Tooth can be found in Gold Chests from Ancient Dungeons.
Coral Stone[]
Coral Stone can be added to Iron Weapons to guarantee crafting a Superior Iron Weapon.
Coral Stones can be found when mining Iron Mines.
Bull Horn[]
Bull Horns are perhaps one of the easiest Additives for new players to get; they improve the crafting quality of Iron Armor.
Bull Horns are dropped by Bulls/Cattle.
Moonlight Stone[]
Moonlight Stones improve the crafting results of Silver Weapons.
Moonlight Stones can be found when mining Silver Mines.
Wolf Fang[]
Wolf Fang can be used to craft improved Silver Armor.
Wolf Fangs are dropped by Wolves. Because Wolves are level 25 to 30 and Silver Armor can only be crafted at level 25, Wolf Fangs can be hard to get without already having such armor.
Each character can get one free Wolf Fang in their in-game mailbox by following standard game progression.
Ruby[]
Ruby is an Additive material for Gold Weapons which can be used to create better Gold Weapons.
Ruby can be found when mining Gold Mines.
Turtle Shell[]
Turtle Shells can be added when crafting Gold Armor in order to improve the quality of the crafting. Turtle Shells are dropped by Pool Turtles and Lava Turtles.
Sapphire[]
Sapphire can be used as an additive when crafting Crystal Weapons, in order to get at least an Epic quality Crystal Weapon.
Sapphires can be found when mining Crystal Mines.
Ivory[]
Ivory can be added as an additive when crafting Crystal Armour, to upgrade to at least Epic quality Crystal Armour.
Ivory is dropped from Mammoths and Snow Mammoths.
Black Gem[]
A Black Gem can be added when making Obsidian Weapons in order to get at least an Epic quality Obsidian Weapon.
It is sometimes dropped from mining Obsidian Ores.
Dragon Tooth[]
A Dragon Tooth can be used when crafting Obsidian Armor in order to give 100% odds that the crafting will produce at least Epic quality Obsidian Armor.
It is dropped from killing T-Rex and Dark T-Rex.
Ancient Gem[]
An Ancient Gem can be added when crafting Ancient Weapons to ensure a crafting of an Epic-or-better Ancient Weapon.
It is dropped from looting Rare Treasure Chest (found near the beacons at the extremes of the map).
Ancient Tooth[]
An Ancient Tooth can be added when crafting Ancient Armor to ensure a crafting of Epic-or-better Ancient Armor.
It has 10% of chance of being dropped from killing Sharks.
Ice Stone[]
The Ice Stone is used to enchance the properties of the Valea Weapons and Tools set. It is an uncommon item, and can be obtained from the Northrend Ice Mine (located in Northrend or on some dungeons in cold areas like Shadesnow Mountain).
Ice Dragon Scales[]
Add Ice Dragon Scales to enhance the properties of the Valea Armor during crafting. Ice Dragon Scales can be found on Northland.
